Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Supply Chain Jobs at Qualcomm Jobs
Align Your Degree to Qualcomm's Requirements
Qualcomm's supply chain roles in semiconductor and hardware manufacturing typically require a degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations. A general business degree without technical coursework often struggles to clear the specialty occupation threshold for H-1B petitions.
Target Roles Tied to Hardware Production
Focus your applications on procurement, demand planning, and contract manufacturer management roles, which sit closer to Qualcomm's chip design and fabrication supply chain. These roles show stronger visa sponsorship patterns than generalist logistics or distribution positions.
Search Qualcomm Supply Chain Openings on Migrate Mate
Filtering for sponsorship-confirmed supply chain openings saves time you'd otherwise spend guessing an employer's willingness. Use Migrate Mate to find Qualcomm supply chain jobs where sponsorship eligibility is already surfaced alongside the listing.
Time Your OPT Application Around Qualcomm's Hiring Cycles
Qualcomm recruits heavily in the first quarter for full-time supply chain roles tied to fiscal planning. If your F-1 OPT authorization window opens between January and April, you're positioned to accept an offer before CPT or OPT expiration becomes a complicating factor.
Clarify LCA Coverage Before Accepting an Offer
Qualcomm operates supply chain teams across multiple states. Before signing, confirm that the Labor Condition Application your employer files with DOL reflects the worksite where you'll actually be placed, since mismatches on location or wage level can delay your H-1B approval.
Prepare for PERM by Documenting Specialized Experience Early
If you're targeting a Green Card through Qualcomm's EB-2 or EB-3 pathway, start building a paper trail of specialized supply chain contributions now. PERM recruitment tests require demonstrating no qualified U.S. workers could fill your specific role, so niche expertise in semiconductor sourcing or contract manufacturing strengthens your case.

Find Supply Chain at Qualcomm JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Qualcomm sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles?
Yes, Qualcomm sponsors H-1B visas for supply chain positions, particularly roles tied to procurement, demand planning, and contract manufacturer management within its semiconductor operations. The company participates in the annual H-1B lottery through USCIS and has an established process for filing petitions for international candidates in technical supply chain functions.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Qualcomm?
Apply directly through Qualcomm's careers portal and filter by supply chain or operations job family. You can also browse sponsorship-confirmed openings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Qualcomm supply chain roles alongside visa eligibility details so you're not guessing about sponsorship before you apply. Tailor your resume to reflect semiconductor or hardware manufacturing experience where possible.
Which visa types does Qualcomm commonly use for Supply Chain hires?
Qualcomm uses H-1B as the primary work visa for supply chain professionals, along with H-1B1 for candidates from Singapore and Chile. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates. TN visas apply for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying supply chain roles. For longer-term sponsorship, Qualcomm supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does Qualcomm expect for Supply Chain roles?
Most supply chain openings at Qualcomm require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field. Roles tied to semiconductor procurement or contract manufacturing often expect direct experience with outsourced manufacturing environments, ERP systems, and cross-functional coordination with engineering teams. Advanced degrees can accelerate eligibility for EB-2 sponsorship.
How do I think about timing when pursuing H-1B sponsorship at Qualcomm?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March each year, with USCIS conducting the lottery shortly after. To be included, you need a confirmed offer and an employer ready to register before the window closes. Joining Qualcomm on F-1 OPT before the lottery deadline lets you work legally while your H-1B petition is pending, with a cap-gap extension covering the gap until October 1 if you're selected.
