Align your portfolio to B2B positioning
Siemens markets complex industrial and technology solutions to enterprise clients, not consumers. Tailor your work samples and resume to show B2B campaign experience, technical product launches, or account-based marketing so hiring managers see immediate fit.
Target roles tied to core business units
Siemens Marketing positions tied to divisions like Digital Industries or Smart Infrastructure tend to have more consistent hiring pipelines. Search by business unit, not just job title, to find roles where sponsorship has historically followed full-time offers.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles
Siemens posts Marketing openings across multiple locations and divisions, which makes tracking relevant positions manually inefficient. Migrate Mate filters Siemens jobs by visa sponsorship type so you can focus only on roles open to your specific status.
Ask specifically about PERM eligibility at offer stage
For Marketing roles requiring specialized expertise, Siemens may sponsor EB-2 or EB-3 Green Cards through PERM. Confirm during the offer negotiation whether your specific role qualifies, since DOL's PERM process requires the employer to document a minimum requirements analysis before filing.
Prepare documentation that proves specialty occupation standing
USCIS scrutinizes Marketing H-1B petitions because the occupation isn't always presumed to require a degree in a specific field. Gather syllabi, transcripts, or credential evaluations linking your marketing or communications degree directly to the advertised role's duties.

Find Marketing at Siemens JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Siemens sponsor H-1B visas for Marketings?
Yes, Siemens sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing roles, though sponsorship is typically tied to positions requiring specialized expertise in areas like product marketing, digital strategy, or technical communications. Because USCIS applies a specialty occupation standard to Marketing petitions, your degree field and the specific job duties both need to align clearly. Roles connected to Siemens' industrial and technology consulting divisions tend to have the clearest sponsorship pathway.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at Siemens?
Apply directly through the Siemens careers portal, filtering by function and location. Before applying, review the job description closely for language about degree requirements since that language shapes the H-1B specialty occupation argument later. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse Siemens Marketing openings filtered by the visa types relevant to your status, which saves time when multiple divisions are hiring simultaneously.
Which visa types does Siemens commonly use for Marketing roles?
Siemens sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for Marketing positions, along with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas for longer-term hires. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying Marketing-adjacent categories. F-1 CPT is typically used during internships or co-ops, while OPT covers the post-graduation period before an H-1B petition can be filed.
What qualifications does Siemens expect for Marketing roles?
Most Marketing roles at Siemens require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, with preference given to candidates who have B2B or technology sector experience. Roles in product marketing or go-to-market strategy often expect familiarity with enterprise sales cycles. For sponsorship purposes, your degree discipline should map directly to the role's core duties, which USCIS will evaluate when reviewing any H-1B petition.
How do I understand the sponsorship timeline for a Marketing role at Siemens?
If you're on F-1 OPT, Siemens needs to file your H-1B petition by the April 1 filing window, with employment starting no earlier than October 1 under the standard cap. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Siemens can file a transfer petition and you can begin working upon receipt. For EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM, the DOL process alone typically takes one to two years before an immigrant visa petition is filed.
