Frame Your Finance Credentials Around Retail Operations
Skechers runs a high-volume wholesale and direct-to-consumer business, so banking candidates who can speak to cash flow forecasting, inventory financing, or multi-currency treasury work will resonate more than those with a purely institutional finance background.
Identify Roles That Sit Under Corporate Finance
Skechers posts Banking-adjacent roles under titles like Treasury Analyst, FP&A Analyst, and Financial Operations. Searching broadly for these titles on the careers page surfaces sponsorship-eligible openings that a narrow 'banking' search would miss.
Understand Which Visa Category Fits Your Background
Skechers sponsors H-1B, E-3, and EB-2/EB-3 Green Card pathways for Banking roles. If you're Australian, the E-3 avoids the H-1B lottery entirely. If you're targeting permanent residence, ask the recruiter early whether the role is eligible for PERM labor certification.
Time Your Application Around the H-1B Cap Season
H-1B registration opens in early March each year, with selections made shortly after. If you're in OPT and targeting a full-time Banking offer at Skechers, you need an offer confirmed before the USCIS registration window so your employer can file on your behalf.
Clarify Sponsorship Willingness Before the Final Interview Round
Skechers hiring managers for Banking roles are not always the decision-makers on sponsorship. Raise visa needs with the recruiter after an initial screen, not during final rounds, so HR can confirm the position is approved for sponsorship before you invest further in the process.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Sponsorship Openings
Not every Skechers Banking posting signals sponsorship willingness upfront. Use Migrate Mate to browse roles the company has actively sponsored, so you're targeting positions with a documented track record rather than applying broadly and following up blind.

Find Banking at Skechers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Skechers sponsor H-1B visas for Bankings?
Yes, Skechers has an active history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Banking and finance roles at its corporate offices. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so confirming eligibility with the recruiter early in the process is the most reliable approach before investing time in multiple interview rounds.
How do I apply for Banking jobs at Skechers?
Start by searching Skechers' careers portal for titles like Treasury Analyst, FP&A Analyst, or Financial Operations. Migrate Mate filters Skechers' Banking openings by visa sponsorship type, so you can prioritize roles where H-1B, E-3, or Green Card sponsorship has been confirmed, rather than screening each posting manually.
Which visa types does Skechers use for Banking roles?
Skechers sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for nonimmigrant work authorization in Banking, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions for longer-term permanent residence pathways. Australian nationals have the additional option of the E-3, which bypasses the H-1B lottery and has a dedicated annual allocation that has never been exhausted.
What qualifications does Skechers expect for Banking roles?
Most Banking positions at Skechers require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field, which also satisfies the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B and E-3 sponsorship. Roles in treasury and FP&A often prefer candidates with experience in retail or consumer goods financial environments, given the company's wholesale and direct-to-consumer revenue mix.
How do I time a Banking job offer at Skechers around visa processing?
If you're on OPT, you need a signed offer before the USCIS H-1B registration window in early March. E-3 applicants have more flexibility since the visa can be processed at an Australian consulate year-round, with most appointments available within two to six weeks. For either path, surface your visa situation to the recruiter at the screening stage, not after an offer is extended.
