Frame your portfolio around wholesale footwear accounts
Skechers Account Managers typically own regional wholesale or key retail relationships. Before applying, document specific account wins, revenue growth, and sell-through results from footwear, apparel, or consumer goods roles so your experience maps directly to their business model.
Target Skechers openings by territory and channel
Skechers structures its Account Manager roles by geography and retail channel, including department stores, sporting goods chains, and independent boutiques. Filtering applications by the channel where you have the deepest account management experience significantly improves your interview fit.
Confirm your visa category before the offer stage
Skechers sponsors H-1B, E-3, and Green Card pathways, but the right category depends on your nationality and current status. Clarify which visa type applies to you before salary negotiations begin, so neither side is surprised when HR initiates the paperwork process.
Understand how LCA prevailing wage applies to your role
For H-1B and E-3 sponsorship, DOL requires Skechers to certify your offered salary meets the prevailing wage for Account Manager roles in the specific metropolitan area where you'll be based. Roles in Los Angeles, where Skechers is headquartered, carry a different wage floor than field-based territory positions.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active Skechers openings
Skechers posts Account Manager roles across multiple channels but not all are flagged as visa-sponsoring. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Skechers Account Manager positions that match your visa type, so you're applying to roles the company is actively willing to sponsor.
Prepare for a longer hiring timeline if PERM is required
If your long-term path includes an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card, the PERM labor certification process through DOL adds months before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant petition. Raise your interest in permanent residency during offer negotiations, not after you've already started.

Find Account Manager at Skechers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Skechers sponsor H-1B visas for Account Managers?
Yes, Skechers sponsors H-1B visas for Account Manager roles. Because Account Manager positions are classified as specialty occupations requiring business or marketing-related degrees, they meet USCIS eligibility standards for H-1B sponsorship. Keep in mind that H-1B sponsorship for new applicants is subject to the annual lottery, so timing your application cycle and securing an offer before the March registration window matters.
Which visa types does Skechers commonly use for Account Manager roles?
Skechers sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for Account Manager roles, with E-3 available exclusively to Australian citizens. For candidates pursuing permanent residency, Skechers also has a track record of filing EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant petitions for this function. Which pathway applies to you depends on your nationality, current visa status, and whether you're entering the U.S. for the first time or transferring from another employer.
What qualifications or experience does Skechers expect for Account Manager roles?
Skechers typically expects a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field for Account Manager positions, which also supports H-1B and E-3 specialty occupation eligibility. Beyond the degree, they prioritize candidates with demonstrated wholesale or retail account management experience, ideally within footwear, apparel, or consumer goods. Territory management experience and familiarity with major U.S. retail chains are practical differentiators.
How do I apply for Account Manager jobs at Skechers?
You can browse and apply for Account Manager roles at Skechers through Migrate Mate, which filters open positions by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm the role matches your situation before applying. When applying directly, tailor your resume to highlight wholesale account ownership, revenue results, and retail channel knowledge relevant to Skechers' distribution model. Skechers hires for territory-specific roles, so matching your experience to the geography in the job listing strengthens your application.
How do I plan the timeline if Skechers sponsors my visa for an Account Manager role?
For H-1B sponsorship, Skechers must register you in the USCIS lottery in March for an October 1 start date, meaning you need an offer in place before March. E-3 processing through a U.S. consulate in Australia typically takes two to six weeks once the Labor Condition Application is certified by DOL. If you're pursuing an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card, the PERM labor certification phase alone can take six to twelve months before the immigrant petition stage begins.
