Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Manager Jobs at Skechers Jobs
Tailor your resume to footwear sales
Skechers evaluates Sales Managers on channel-specific experience: retail floor performance, wholesale account management, or key account growth. Align your resume to the specific sales channel in the job posting before you apply.
Find open roles on Migrate Mate
Search Migrate Mate to filter Sales Manager openings at Skechers by visa type, location, and sponsorship history. It removes the guesswork of identifying which postings are genuinely open to sponsored candidates.
Prepare a portfolio of quantified sales outcomes
Skechers Sales Manager interviews prioritize territory revenue results, account retention rates, and team performance metrics. Bring documented outcomes from previous roles, since these also strengthen the specialty occupation case in your USCIS petition.
Understand the 60-day gap risk between roles
If you're switching to Skechers from another sponsored role, your current visa status typically allows a 60-day grace period after your last day. Your new employer's H-1B or E-3 petition needs to be filed or a bridge strategy confirmed before that window closes.

Find Sales Manager at Skechers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Skechers sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Managers?
Yes, Skechers sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Manager roles. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Your employer files Form I-129 with USCIS after the DOL certifies the Labor Condition Application. If you're subject to the cap, your start date will be tied to the H-1B lottery cycle.
How do I apply for Sales Manager jobs at Skechers?
Applications go through Skechers' careers portal, where you can filter by location and job function. To find roles specifically open to sponsored candidates, use Migrate Mate to browse verified Sales Manager openings at Skechers filtered by visa sponsorship type. Tailoring your application to the specific sales channel, whether retail, wholesale, or key accounts, significantly improves your chances.
Which visa types does Skechers use for Sales Manager roles?
Skechers sponsors H-1B, E-3, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for Sales Manager positions. Australian citizens should strongly consider the E-3 path, which bypasses the H-1B lottery and can move faster. Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification is typically initiated after you've been in role for a period, not at the time of initial hire.
What qualifications does Skechers expect for a sponsored Sales Manager?
Skechers generally looks for a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, combined with demonstrated experience managing sales territories or wholesale accounts in the footwear or broader fashion and apparel sector. The specialty occupation requirement for H-1B and E-3 means your degree field needs to align with the role's core duties, so a generalist background alone won't satisfy USCIS eligibility.
How do I time my Sales Manager application at Skechers around visa deadlines?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed for an October 1 start date, so you need a job offer in hand before the March registration window. E-3 visas have no annual cap and can be filed year-round, which gives Australian applicants much more scheduling flexibility. If you're on OPT, confirm your program end date and factor in at least two to three months for petition filing and processing before your authorized work period expires.
