Tailor your resume to Skechers sales channels
Skechers operates across wholesale, direct-to-consumer, and key account segments. Align your resume to the specific channel you're targeting, using language that reflects footwear or apparel distribution, sell-in processes, and seasonal buying cycles.
Research which Sales roles trigger sponsorship
Sponsorship at Skechers is more common for account management and wholesale roles than entry-level retail positions. Prioritize applications for roles with territory, account ownership, or B2B responsibilities, where degree requirements make H-1B eligibility clearer.
Confirm E-3 eligibility if you hold Australian citizenship
Skechers sponsors the E-3 visa, which is available only to Australian citizens. E-3 has no lottery, processes faster than H-1B, and can be initiated at a U.S. consulate. If you qualify, flag this directly with the recruiter early in the process.
Build your case around specialty occupation standards
USCIS requires Sales roles to qualify as specialty occupations for H-1B sponsorship. Strengthen your petition by documenting that the role requires a specific bachelor's degree field, not just any degree, and that your background matches that field directly.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Sales roles at Skechers
Skechers posts Sales openings across multiple channels, and not all are labeled as sponsorship-eligible. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Skechers Sales roles that have an active sponsorship track record, so you're applying where sponsorship is genuinely on the table.

Find Sales at Skechers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Skechers sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Skechers has a history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Sales positions, particularly in account management and wholesale functions where the role requires a specific degree field. Not every Sales title will qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, so roles with clear degree requirements and defined account responsibilities are the strongest candidates for sponsorship.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Skechers?
You can apply through Skechers' careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters for Sales roles at companies with a documented sponsorship track record. When you apply, be upfront about your visa needs early in the recruiter conversation. Skechers' talent acquisition team is familiar with sponsorship workflows, so clarity from the start avoids wasted time on both sides.
Which visa types does Skechers use for Sales roles?
Skechers sponsors the H-1B and E-3 for nonimmigrant work authorization, and supports Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications for longer-term employees. The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens and offers a faster, lottery-free path. H-1B is the more common route for other nationalities, subject to the annual cap and lottery.
What qualifications does Skechers expect for sponsored Sales roles?
For roles that qualify for H-1B sponsorship, Skechers typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline. Practical experience in fashion, footwear, or consumer goods sales carries significant weight, especially for account management roles. Familiarity with wholesale or retail buying processes in the apparel industry strengthens your application considerably.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap and start dates?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT or a grace period, plan your Skechers application timeline backwards from that window. E-3 petitions have no annual cap and can be filed year-round, giving Australian applicants more flexibility. Confirm your current status expiry date and discuss the timeline with Skechers' HR before accepting any offer.
