Frame your retail credentials for U.S. standards
Skechers Branch Manager roles require demonstrated P&L ownership and team leadership, not just floor management experience. Translate your foreign work history into those terms before applying, and ensure any overseas qualifications are formatted in a way U.S. hiring managers recognize.
Target stores in Skechers' expansion markets
Skechers consistently opens new locations in suburban and outlet markets. Roles in these higher-velocity hiring regions move faster and often have more flexibility on sponsorship, since the staffing need is urgent and the candidate pool is smaller.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
Branch Manager is a specialty occupation that can support H-1B or E-3 sponsorship, but the fit depends on your degree field. Confirm your qualification aligns with a business or management discipline before Skechers initiates any USCIS petition, so nothing stalls after an offer is made.
Understand how PERM timing affects your start date
If Skechers offers Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, the PERM labor certification process with the DOL adds significant lead time. Factor this into your negotiation so your employment start date doesn't conflict with an active filing window.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Branch Manager roles
Skechers posts Branch Manager openings across dozens of locations at any given time, but not all are listed with sponsorship details. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Skechers roles that are open to visa candidates, saving time you'd otherwise spend vetting listings manually.
Address your nonimmigrant intent directly if renewing on E-3
E-3 visa renewals for retail management roles can draw additional consular scrutiny, particularly if you've held the same position across multiple renewal cycles. Prepare documentation showing ongoing business need and career progression within the Skechers structure before your appointment.

Find Branch Manager at Skechers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Skechers sponsor H-1B visas for Branch Managers?
Yes, Skechers has sponsored H-1B visas for Branch Manager roles. The position needs to qualify as a specialty occupation, which typically means the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as business management or retail operations. Your specific degree background will determine whether your application meets USCIS criteria for this classification.
How do I apply for Branch Manager jobs at Skechers?
You can apply directly through Skechers' careers site or find visa-sponsorship-eligible openings through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your application to highlight store operations experience, team leadership, and revenue ownership, since those are the competencies Skechers weighs most heavily for Branch Manager candidates.
Which visa types does Skechers use for Branch Manager sponsorship?
Skechers has used H-1B, E-3, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Branch Manager roles. E-3 is available only to Australian citizens and is generally faster to process. H-1B is subject to the annual lottery. Green Card sponsorship through PERM is a longer-term pathway that some candidates negotiate alongside their initial offer.
What qualifications does Skechers expect for Branch Manager roles?
Skechers typically looks for candidates with prior retail management experience, including responsibility for store performance, staff scheduling, and inventory. A bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field strengthens both your candidacy and your visa eligibility. Experience in fashion or footwear retail is an advantage, though not always a strict requirement at every location.
How do I think about timeline when pursuing a sponsored Branch Manager role at Skechers?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. E-3 processing through consular channels can move within a few weeks if your documentation is in order. H-1B requires filing in April and waiting for lottery selection, which means planning your job search around that annual window. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship can take a year or more from initial filing with the DOL, so it's a parallel track, not a fast path.
