Tailor your resume to Skechers' service tiers
Skechers operates across retail stores, wholesale accounts, and direct-to-consumer channels. Frame your experience around the specific tier you're targeting, account management language lands differently than retail floor support when recruiters are scanning applications.
Verify your visa type matches the role level
E-3 applicants can move faster since there's no lottery, but the role must qualify as a specialty occupation. For Customer Service, positions with account management or operations oversight components are stronger fits than general frontline support roles.
Ask about sponsorship scope during initial interviews
Skechers sponsors across multiple visa categories, so ask your recruiter which pathways the team has used for similar roles. Knowing whether they've filed H-1B cap-subject petitions or processed E-3 cases helps you gauge timeline expectations before an offer is extended.
Build documentation around product and brand knowledge
For specialty occupation filings, your employer needs to show the role requires degree-level expertise. Documenting experience with footwear retail systems, B2B account servicing, or apparel supply chain processes strengthens the case that your background is field-specific, not general.
Track open Customer Service roles using Migrate Mate
Skechers posts Customer Service openings across multiple channels, and sponsorship availability isn't always flagged in the listing. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Skechers roles that have an active sponsorship history, so you're applying where the pathway already exists.
Confirm PERM labor certification timelines if targeting a Green Card
If Skechers is willing to sponsor an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card, the PERM process requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers were passed over. That recruitment period adds months before USCIS filing begins, so align your offer negotiation and work authorization timeline accordingly.

Does Skechers sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
Yes, Skechers has sponsored H-1B visas for Customer Service roles. The position generally needs to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it requires at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Roles with account management, wholesale operations, or enterprise client servicing responsibilities tend to meet that threshold more consistently than general frontline support positions.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at Skechers?
You can find open Customer Service roles on Skechers' careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters for positions where sponsorship has historically been available. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific channel, retail, wholesale, or corporate, since Skechers recruits differently across those functions. Following up with the recruiter to confirm sponsorship availability early saves time on both sides.
Which visa types does Skechers commonly use for Customer Service roles?
Skechers has sponsored H-1B, E-3, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Customer Service positions. Australian citizens have an advantage with the E-3 since there's no lottery and the annual cap has never been reached. H-1B applicants need to account for the annual cap and lottery, which adds uncertainty to the timeline.
What qualifications does Skechers expect for sponsored Customer Service roles?
Sponsored Customer Service roles at Skechers typically require a bachelor's degree, often in business, communications, or a related field. Experience with B2B account management, retail operations, or wholesale customer support in the footwear or apparel industry strengthens your profile considerably. Familiarity with order management systems and multi-channel customer workflows is frequently mentioned in job postings for these roles.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Skechers Customer Service role?
Timeline depends on the visa type. E-3 applicants can often complete the process within four to eight weeks if the Labor Condition Application is filed promptly with DOL and an interview slot is available at the consulate. H-1B cases filed under the standard cap are subject to USCIS processing timelines that can stretch several months. Green Card sponsorship through PERM adds a year or more before USCIS adjudication begins.
