Solugenix is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in Autosys administration to support critical enterprise systems in a long-term, hybrid role based in Irvine, CA.
About the role
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex production issues, improving system reliability, and working with modern cloud and automation technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of operational support, automation administration, cloud infrastructure experience, and SRE best practices. You will work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to support automation, monitoring, incident resolution, and cloud-based infrastructure initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Autosys administration.
- Experience creating, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scheduled jobs in production environments.
- Strong understanding of job dependencies, batch cycles, workflow automation, and production support.
- Experience with Kubernetes to support and troubleshoot Autosys job execution in cloud-based, containerized environments.
- Solid experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Knowledge of automation, monitoring, incident management, system reliability, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/SRE practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and enhance Autosys job scheduling and batch processing environments.
- Define and maintain job dependencies, conditions, schedules, and workflow automation.
- Support batch job cycles based on business and operational requirements.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of scheduled jobs.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution.
- Support server upgrades, patching activities, and post-maintenance validation.
- Manage user access, security roles, and permission reviews in alignment with access management policies.
- Work with Kubernetes-based environments to support and troubleshoot job execution in cloud/containerized platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.
- Partner with development and operations teams to improve application reliability and performance.
- Support deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD and release automation improvements.
- Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for workflows, processes, and operational procedures.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $75/hour to $90/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
