Highlight hospitality credentials from your home country
Station Casinos values guest-facing experience in high-volume environments. Document your service history in hotels, hospitality, or entertainment venues clearly on your resume, since casino floor roles require demonstrated composure under pressure with diverse clientele.
Target roles with clearest specialty occupation framing
H-1B sponsorship in Customer Service at a gaming company is possible but requires USCIS to accept the role as a specialty occupation. Supervisor, training coordinator, or guest experience management titles carry stronger degree-requirement arguments than general service agent positions.
Apply before your OPT authorization window closes
If you're on F-1 OPT, Station Casinos can bring you on during your authorized period without needing an H-1B immediately. Starting employment well before your OPT expiration gives your employer enough runway to file an H-1B petition for the next cap season.
Understand the Nevada gaming license requirement early
Customer Service employees at Nevada casinos typically need a state gaming work card before their start date. Start that background check process as soon as you receive an offer, since delays can push your actual start date and affect your visa timeline.
Ask hiring managers directly about their PERM experience
For Green Card pathways through EB-2 or EB-3, the employer must run a PERM labor certification through DOL. In your final interview rounds, ask whether the company has an immigration counsel relationship and how they've handled PERM filings for Customer Service employees previously.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Station Casinos posts Customer Service openings across multiple Nevada properties and job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for positions where sponsorship is confirmed, so you're applying only where your visa situation is already a known variable, not a dealbreaker.

Find Customer Service at Station Casinos JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Station Casinos sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
Station Casinos has sponsored H-1B visas across its workforce, including in customer-facing roles. For Customer Service specifically, sponsorship is more likely for positions with a clear degree requirement, such as guest experience management or training roles. General floor service positions may not meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard for H-1B eligibility without careful framing by the employer's immigration counsel.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at Station Casinos?
Applications go through Station Casinos' careers portal, where roles are listed by property and department. You can also find their open Customer Service positions on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles where visa sponsorship is available. Once you apply, the process typically includes a phone screen, in-person interview, and a Nevada gaming background check before any offer is finalized.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Service roles at Station Casinos?
Station Casinos has sponsored F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, H-1B, and TN visas for employees in its workforce. For Customer Service roles, F-1 OPT is a common entry point since it doesn't require employer petition at the outset. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways have also been used for longer-tenure employees.
What qualifications does Station Casinos expect for Customer Service roles?
Most Customer Service positions require prior experience in high-volume guest-facing environments, particularly in hospitality, gaming, or entertainment. Roles involving team oversight or training typically require a bachelor's degree, which also strengthens the case for visa sponsorship. Strong communication skills and the ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Control Board work card are standard requirements across all customer-facing positions at the company.
How do I plan my timeline for visa sponsorship at Station Casinos?
If you're targeting an H-1B, the cap filing window opens in March each year with an October 1 start date, so your offer needs to be in place well before then. For F-1 OPT transitions, USCIS recommends filing H-1B petitions at least 90 days before your OPT expires. Factor in Nevada's gaming license background check, which can take several weeks and must be completed before your employment start date.
