Target roles in talent representation and corporate functions
UTA's sponsorship activity is concentrated in professional and corporate roles rather than entry-level positions. Focus your search on departments like legal, finance, marketing, and talent management, where international candidates are more likely to receive sponsorship consideration.
Understand that UTA leans toward permanent residency support
UTA's sponsorship pattern skews toward Green Card pathways rather than temporary work visas. If you're already authorized to work in the U.S. and looking for an employer willing to support long-term permanent residency, UTA is worth prioritizing in your search.
Leverage F-1 OPT to get your foot in the door
UTA recognizes F-1 OPT and CPT, making it accessible for recent graduates entering the entertainment industry. Use your OPT period to build a track record at UTA, demonstrated performance significantly strengthens any future sponsorship conversation.
Highlight entertainment industry experience in your application
UTA represents top-tier talent across media, sports, and music. Candidates with direct experience in entertainment, media rights, content licensing, or talent operations will stand out. Frame your background around the business of entertainment, not just functional skills.
Research which UTA offices align with your visa type
UTA has offices across the U.S., but sponsorship decisions often vary by location and team. Canadian citizens eligible for TN status should confirm whether the role is based in a state where TN sponsorship is standard practice for UTA's hiring teams.
Use Migrate Mate to identify UTA roles open to sponsored candidates
Searching for UTA openings that include verified sponsorship history takes time without the right tools. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find UTA positions where international applicants have a realistic path forward.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does United Talent Agency sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship records, UTA has not been an active H-1B visa sponsor in recent periods. The company's documented sponsorship activity is concentrated in Green Card categories, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with support for F-1 OPT and CPT candidates. International applicants seeking H-1B visa sponsorship at UTA should raise it directly during the hiring process to get a current answer.
What visa types does United Talent Agency sponsor?
UTA sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, and recognizes F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. The company also sponsors TN visas, which are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. If you hold one of these statuses or are pursuing permanent residency, UTA is worth targeting.
Which roles or departments at United Talent Agency are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at UTA tends to concentrate in professional and specialized roles, including legal, business affairs, finance, marketing, and senior talent management positions. Roles requiring specialized expertise, advanced degrees, or industry-specific credentials are stronger candidates for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship. Entry-level or administrative positions are less likely to come with permanent residency support.
How do I find open jobs at United Talent Agency that are open to visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find UTA roles where sponsorship is a realistic option. Rather than applying broadly and asking about sponsorship later, you can filter for verified sponsors in the media and entertainment industry and identify UTA positions where international candidates have a documented path. This saves time and reduces the risk of pursuing roles where sponsorship won't happen.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation when applying to United Talent Agency?
Be direct but strategic. UTA's sponsorship history is in permanent residency support, so if you're on OPT or a TN, frame the conversation around your long-term commitment to the entertainment industry and your interest in building a career at UTA. Avoid raising sponsorship in the first interview if possible. Once you've demonstrated fit, initiate the conversation with HR by asking about their process for supporting international employees rather than asking simply whether they sponsor.
