Target roles that align with Green Card pathways
Urban SDK's sponsorship history skews toward permanent residency rather than temporary work visas. Focus your applications on engineering, data, and product roles where EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship is most likely to be offered after a period of employment.
Lead with your OPT or TN status upfront
Urban SDK has sponsored TN and F-1 OPT candidates, so disclosing your work authorization early removes ambiguity. Hiring managers at smaller tech companies appreciate candidates who make the visa conversation straightforward rather than leaving it for the final offer stage.
Position yourself for a long-term fit
Green Card sponsorship signals Urban SDK thinks in terms of multi-year retention. Frame your application around long-term contributions to the company's transportation analytics platform, not just immediate technical skills, sponsors want to see commitment before committing themselves.
Research the transportation tech space before applying
Urban SDK operates at the intersection of SaaS and smart city infrastructure. Candidates who demonstrate familiarity with mobility data, traffic management software, or urban planning technology stand out in a specialized niche where domain knowledge carries real weight.
Use a platform that surfaces verified sponsorship history
Don't rely on job postings alone to gauge whether Urban SDK will sponsor your visa type. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm Urban SDK is actively hiring before you invest time in an application.
Prepare for a lean hiring process at a growth-stage company
Urban SDK is a smaller technology company, so hiring decisions often move faster and involve fewer interview rounds than enterprise employers. Be ready to discuss visa requirements directly with a founder or senior leader rather than a dedicated HR team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Urban SDK sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Urban SDK has not filed H-1B visa petitions. Their recorded sponsorship activity covers Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with support for F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visa holders. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, it is worth discussing directly with Urban SDK's hiring team, as sponsorship practices can evolve as a company grows.
Which visa types does Urban SDK sponsor?
Urban SDK sponsors Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based immigrant visa categories. The company also works with candidates on F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN status. This makes Urban SDK a viable option for recent graduates on OPT and Canadian or Mexican professionals in qualifying specialty occupations, even if they aren't currently processing H-1B petitions.
How do I find open visa-sponsored roles at Urban SDK?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find verified visa-sponsored roles at Urban SDK. The platform filters jobs by actual sponsorship history, so you can confirm Urban SDK is actively hiring before applying. This saves time compared to manually searching job postings that rarely disclose sponsorship details clearly.
Which departments at Urban SDK are most likely to sponsor visas?
Urban SDK's sponsorship activity suggests their technical roles, particularly software engineering, data infrastructure, and product development, are the most likely to support visa-dependent candidates. As a transportation intelligence software company, they depend heavily on specialized technical talent, which is where international candidates tend to have the strongest case for sponsorship.
How do I approach the visa sponsorship conversation when applying to Urban SDK?
Be direct and early. Urban SDK is a smaller company where hiring decisions often involve senior leadership rather than a large HR department. State your work authorization status in your cover letter or initial outreach, specify which visa type you hold or need, and frame your long-term availability as an asset. Candidates who make sponsorship conversations straightforward tend to move faster through the process at growth-stage companies.
