Frame credentials around quantitative operations experience
WorldQuant's Project Manager roles support research and systematic trading infrastructure, so your resume should highlight experience managing technically complex, data-driven projects. Credentials in financial services or quant-adjacent environments carry significantly more weight than general project management backgrounds.
Search WorldQuant Project Manager roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters open Project Manager positions specifically at companies with verified sponsorship histories, so you're not guessing whether WorldQuant will sponsor for a given role. Use it to identify current openings and time your applications strategically.
Understand how WorldQuant structures H-1B petitions
WorldQuant files H-1B petitions as a cap-subject employer, meaning lottery timing in April matters. If you're targeting a full-time conversion from OPT or CPT, align your offer and start date discussions to account for the October 1 cap-subject effective date.
Prepare a PMP or equivalent before your final interviews
WorldQuant's Project Manager postings consistently reference structured methodology credentials. Holding a PMP or similar certification before you reach offer-stage conversations signals delivery competence and reduces friction when the employer assesses whether the role clears the H-1B specialty occupation threshold.
Clarify PERM timeline expectations during offer negotiation
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, PERM labor certification through DOL can take 12 to 18 months before an I-140 is even filed. Raise this with your recruiter early so both sides align on realistic permanent residency timelines rather than discovering the gap post-offer.

Find Project Manager at WorldQuant JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does WorldQuant sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, WorldQuant sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles. Because Project Manager positions at WorldQuant typically require a specialized degree in a relevant field and involve managing technically complex quantitative research or trading infrastructure, they generally satisfy the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Your petition will still need to clearly document the degree requirement and how your background meets it.
Which visa types does WorldQuant commonly use for Project Manager roles?
WorldQuant sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, J-1, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Project Manager positions. H-1B is the most common long-term work authorization route. TN is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT or CPT is frequently the starting point for recent graduates before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at WorldQuant?
You can find and apply for Project Manager openings at WorldQuant through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles at employers with verified sponsorship histories so you can prioritize your search. When applying, tailor your application to WorldQuant's quantitative research environment, emphasizing cross-functional delivery experience, technical project complexity, and any exposure to financial data systems or systematic investment operations.
What qualifications does WorldQuant expect for Project Manager candidates?
WorldQuant's Project Manager roles typically expect a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as finance, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, alongside demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Exposure to quantitative research workflows, trading infrastructure, or financial technology environments is a meaningful differentiator. A PMP or equivalent certification is frequently listed as preferred or required.
How do I plan my timeline if WorldQuant is sponsoring my H-1B?
If you're moving from F-1 OPT to H-1B, your employer must file your petition during the April registration window for an October 1 start date. Build at least three to four months of buffer into your job search to leave enough time for offer, LCA certification through DOL, and petition preparation. If you're on a STEM OPT extension, you have more runway and can align the H-1B filing without rushing.
