Frame your credentials around quantitative finance fluency
WorldQuant evaluates Partnerships Managers on their ability to communicate complex quant strategies to institutional counterparts. Organize your resume and portfolio around financial markets experience, not just relationship management breadth, before you apply.
Target WorldQuant's institutional and research partnership verticals
WorldQuant builds partnerships across academic institutions, data providers, and asset allocators. Identifying which vertical your background fits, whether research networks or institutional sales, lets you tailor your outreach to the team most likely to sponsor your role.
Confirm LCA filing intent before accepting an offer
Before signing, ask the recruiter whether the Partnerships Manager role is designated as a specialty occupation under DOL Labor Condition Application requirements. Some business development titles at asset managers fall outside standard H-1B petition pathways, so clarifying this early prevents delays.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Partnerships Manager roles
WorldQuant posts Partnerships Manager positions across multiple locations, and openings move quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for roles at WorldQuant that explicitly include visa sponsorship, so you can apply during active hiring windows rather than chasing closed requisitions.
Align your OPT or CPT timeline with WorldQuant's hiring cycles
If you're on F-1 status, WorldQuant's Partnerships Manager hires tend to align with institutional business development planning cycles. Filing for OPT authorization at least 90 days before your program end date gives you the maximum runway to clear onboarding before your authorization activates.
Prepare for PERM documentation if you're pursuing a Green Card
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, WorldQuant must run a PERM labor market test through DOL. Gathering your official degree transcripts, foreign credential evaluations, and employment verification letters before the process starts prevents delays once your employer initiates the application.

Find Partnerships Manager at WorldQuant JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does WorldQuant sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Yes, WorldQuant sponsors H-1B visas for Partnerships Manager roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, or a related field. Your employer files the H-1B petition with USCIS, but you should confirm with your recruiter that the specific role is structured to meet specialty occupation criteria.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnerships Manager roles at WorldQuant?
WorldQuant sponsors H-1B visas most commonly for this role, along with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories for candidates pursuing permanent residence. F-1 OPT and CPT are used for early-career candidates transitioning from academic programs. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles may also pursue TN status, which does not require USCIS approval and can be processed at the border.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at WorldQuant?
You can browse and apply for Partnerships Manager openings at WorldQuant directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles that include visa sponsorship. WorldQuant's application process typically involves a recruiter screen, followed by multiple rounds focused on financial markets knowledge and partnership strategy. Having documented examples of institutional relationship outcomes from previous roles strengthens your application significantly.
What qualifications does WorldQuant expect for Partnerships Manager candidates?
WorldQuant expects Partnerships Managers to have a strong foundation in quantitative finance or asset management, typically with experience in institutional sales, business development, or research partnerships. A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a closely related field is generally required to support H-1B specialty occupation eligibility. Prior exposure to systematic or quantitative investment strategies gives candidates a clear edge in interviews.
How do I understand the H-1B filing timeline for a Partnerships Manager offer at WorldQuant?
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, USCIS opens the registration window in March each year for an October 1 start date, creating roughly a six-month gap between selection and authorization. WorldQuant can bridge this with F-1 OPT or cap-exempt arrangements in some cases. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, WorldQuant can file an H-1B transfer petition and you can begin working once USCIS issues a receipt notice.
