Focus on operations and supply chain roles
Yusen Logistics's core business is freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain management. Roles in those areas align most closely with the company's sponsored positions, so targeting operations-focused titles gives you the strongest shot at sponsorship consideration.
Understand that Yusen Logistics sponsors Green Cards, not H-1Bs
Yusen Logistics's sponsorship history is concentrated in permanent residency pathways like EB-2 and EB-3, not H-1B. If you're planning your immigration strategy, factor in that you'll likely need an existing work authorization before pursuing permanent residency through this employer.
Highlight logistics credentials and industry certifications
Applicants with supply chain credentials, such as APICS certifications, freight brokerage experience, or customs compliance knowledge, align directly with roles Yusen Logistics hires for and are more likely to be considered for sponsored positions over the long term.
Target corporate and managerial-level positions
Permanent residency sponsorship at logistics companies like Yusen tends to concentrate in professional and managerial roles rather than entry-level positions. Applying for roles with defined specialization requirements improves your chances of qualifying for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship pathways.
Search for verified sponsoring employers before applying
Not every logistics company sponsors visas, even large ones. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your efforts on companies like Yusen Logistics that have an actual track record of filing.
Prepare for a longer sponsorship timeline
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 involves PERM labor certification, I-140 filing, and priority date waiting periods that can span years. Start conversations with hiring managers early and ask directly about the company's sponsorship process and internal HR support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Yusen Logistics sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Yusen Logistics does not have a significant H-1B visa filing history. The company's sponsorship activity is concentrated in permanent residency pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. If you require H-1B sponsorship to maintain your current work authorization, Yusen Logistics may not be the right fit unless you already hold a valid work visa independently.
What visa types does Yusen Logistics sponsor?
Yusen Logistics sponsors employment-based Green Cards, primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. EB-3 is commonly used for skilled workers in logistics and operations roles, while EB-2 applies to positions requiring advanced degrees or exceptional ability. The company does not appear to sponsor H-1B or E-3 visa nonimmigrant work visas based on its filing history.
Which departments or roles at Yusen Logistics are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Yusen Logistics tends to align with professional roles in supply chain management, freight operations, logistics coordination, and corporate functions. Positions requiring specialized knowledge, such as customs compliance, international freight forwarding, or supply chain analysis, are most commonly associated with permanent residency pathways given the EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship profile.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at Yusen Logistics?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find sponsored positions at companies like Yusen Logistics. You can filter by employer, visa type, and industry to surface roles where sponsorship has actually been filed, rather than guessing which postings might lead to sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to applying broadly and hoping a company will sponsor.
How do I approach the Green Card sponsorship process if I get hired at Yusen Logistics?
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 typically begins with PERM labor certification, which requires your employer to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Once PERM is approved, Yusen Logistics would file an I-140 petition on your behalf. The full process can take two to five years or more depending on your country of birth and priority date. Raise this with HR before or during the offer stage.
