Align your credentials with U.S. licensing standards
Construction roles in U.S. school facilities often require state-specific certifications or contractor licenses. Research the requirements in the state where Zeta operates before you apply, so your credentials translate cleanly and don't stall the offer stage.
Target Zeta's facilities expansion pipeline
Charter school networks hire Construction professionals in bursts tied to new campus openings and renovation cycles. Monitor Zeta's public announcements about new school launches, then time your outreach to match when their facilities team is actively building out.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
USCIS scrutinizes Construction petitions closely under the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Gather degree transcripts, professional credentials, and a detailed job description showing the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field before your employer files.
Find open Construction roles through Migrate Mate
Browse verified Construction openings at Zeta Charter Schools on Migrate Mate, which filters for employers with confirmed visa sponsorship history. This cuts out the guesswork of cold-applying to roles that may not support your visa category.
Understand the LCA prevailing wage requirement for your role
Before Zeta files your H-1B petition, DOL requires a certified Labor Condition Application confirming your salary meets the prevailing wage for Construction roles in that location. Ask HR which wage level they've benchmarked the position at so there are no surprises at offer.

Find Construction at Zeta Charter Schools JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zeta Charter Schools sponsor H-1B visas for Construction roles?
Yes, Zeta Charter Schools has sponsored H-1B visas for Construction positions. Because Construction roles must qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards, your job offer will need to demonstrate the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific technical discipline. Roles involving structural engineering, facilities management, or specialized project oversight tend to meet this threshold more clearly than general labor positions.
Which visa types does Zeta Charter Schools sponsor for Construction roles?
Zeta Charter Schools sponsors both the H-1B and E-3 visas for Construction roles. The H-1B is available to most nationalities and goes through the annual lottery, while the E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens and has no lottery, making it a faster path. Both require the role to qualify as a specialty occupation and the employer to file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL.
What qualifications does Zeta Charter Schools expect for Construction roles?
Zeta typically looks for candidates with a relevant bachelor's degree in fields like civil engineering, construction management, or architecture, along with hands-on project experience in facilities or institutional construction. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must align closely with the specific role. Charter school construction work often involves coordinating across active educational campuses, so experience managing occupied-building projects is a practical advantage.
How do I apply for Construction jobs at Zeta Charter Schools?
You can browse and apply for Construction openings at Zeta Charter Schools through Migrate Mate, which lists verified roles at employers with documented visa sponsorship history. When you apply, make your visa status and sponsorship needs clear in your materials upfront. Zeta's hiring process for Construction roles typically involves a technical screening, so having your credentials and project portfolio ready to share early will move things faster.
How do I plan my timeline around Zeta's H-1B sponsorship process?
If you're pursuing an H-1B with Zeta, the critical deadline is the USCIS registration window in March. Zeta would need to register you before the lottery runs, which means your offer and internal approvals should be in place well before that window opens. Premium processing can reduce the adjudication wait to around 15 business days once the petition is filed, but lottery selection itself has no expedite option.
