Align your credentials to state teaching standards
Many charter schools require state licensure or subject-matter certification even when sponsoring visas. Check New York's certification requirements for your subject area before applying, so you can address any gaps in your materials upfront.
Target Zeta's open Instructor postings directly
Zeta Charter Schools lists roles across multiple campuses and grade levels. Filter by subject and borough to find the best fit, since sponsorship decisions are made at the school level and a specific instructional need strengthens your case considerably.
Browse Instructor roles at Zeta on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa sponsorship type, so you can find Instructor openings at Zeta Charter Schools that explicitly support H-1B or E-3 candidates without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship.
Prepare for Zeta's competency-based hiring process
Zeta typically uses structured interviews and demo lessons to evaluate instructional quality. Practicing a sample lesson aligned to their curriculum framework before your interview signals readiness and reduces concerns about onboarding time for sponsored candidates.

Find Instructor at Zeta Charter Schools JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zeta Charter Schools sponsor H-1B visas for Instructors?
Yes, Zeta Charter Schools has a record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Instructor roles. The H-1B requires your position to qualify as a specialty occupation, which Instructor roles typically satisfy when the job requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as education, mathematics, or a subject-specific discipline. Sponsorship is initiated after an offer is extended.
Which visa types are commonly used for Instructor roles at Zeta Charter Schools?
Zeta Charter Schools sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for Instructors. The H-1B is the most widely used work visa for international educators and is subject to an annual lottery. The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and bypasses the lottery, making it a faster route. Both require the employer to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before the petition is submitted to USCIS.
How do I apply for Instructor jobs at Zeta Charter Schools?
You can browse open Instructor positions at Zeta Charter Schools through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm H-1B or E-3 eligibility before applying. Applications typically require a resume, cover letter, and references. Zeta's hiring process includes structured interviews and a demo lesson, so preparing a sample lesson aligned to their instructional model strengthens your application.
What qualifications does Zeta Charter Schools expect from Instructor candidates?
Zeta Charter Schools generally expects Instructors to hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject area. New York State teaching certification in your subject or grade level is strongly preferred and may be required for certain roles. Candidates with prior classroom experience in structured, high-expectation school environments are particularly competitive, as Zeta's instructional model emphasizes consistent lesson delivery and data-driven feedback.
How do I think about timing when pursuing an H-1B sponsorship through Zeta Charter Schools?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS accepting registrations in March for an October 1 start date. If you're not already on an H-1B and miss the lottery, your earliest new start would be the following October. Candidates already holding H-1B status through another employer can transfer to Zeta without waiting for a new cap cycle, which is worth clarifying with the hiring team during the offer stage.
