JOB DETAILS
- Position: Construction Estimator / Residential Development / AGTEK required / PTO + Paid Holidays / Car or Truck Allowance
- Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
A BIT ABOUT US
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a solid background in construction estimation, particularly in the areas of grading, bid documents analysis, grading plans analysis, bid preparation, proposal preparation, and specifications review. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AGTEK software and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
- Analyzing grading plans and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
- Preparing comprehensive and accurate bids for projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that bids are competitive.
- Preparing detailed proposals for clients, outlining project costs, timelines, and specifications.
- Reviewing project specifications to ensure that all requirements are met and that projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Utilizing AGTEK software to assist in the estimation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project aspects are considered in the estimation process.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating this knowledge into the estimation process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimation, specifically in grading, bid documents analysis, grading plans analysis, bid preparation, proposal preparation, and specifications review.
- Proficiency in AGTEK software.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications.
- Strong numerical skills, with the ability to prepare accurate and detailed bids and proposals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to clients and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and devise solutions.
- A thorough understanding of the construction industry and current trends.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
