Experienced Engineering Technician (Construction Services)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay starts at $20.00 / hour for experienced candidates only
• Full-time, hourly position potential for overtime at 1.5x pay

Duties and Responsibilities

• QC testing and inspection services for soils, concrete, and asphalt materials for a variety of projects.
• Acceptance of materials from construction sites and delivery to our office for laboratory testing.

Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects over 40 lbs.
• Strong communication skills are required to facilitate coordination with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable MVR based on insurance requirements.
• Must pass a background screening and drug test.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of industry experience
• QC Testing experience required
• ACI Concrete and CTQP certifications required
• Knowledge of FDOT specifications preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
