Who's Hiring

Construction Jobs in Las Vegas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a construction job in Las Vegas?
Focus your search on the sectors driving the most activity in Las Vegas: casino and resort renovation, large-scale residential development in Summerlin and Henderson, and public infrastructure tied to the Las Vegas Convention Center and stadium district. General contractors and MEP subcontractors are the most active employers. Candidates with OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification and documented experience on commercial or high-rise projects stand out in this market.
Which companies hire constructions in Las Vegas?
Employers hiring constructions in Las Vegas right now include AECOM, WSP, and Planate Management, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Las Vegas attracts a mix of national general contractors managing major resort and stadium projects alongside regional subcontractors and specialty trades firms tied to the city's residential boom.
Are there remote construction jobs in Las Vegas?
Yes, but only for specific roles, since most construction work requires physical presence on a job site. About 23% of construction openings tied to Las Vegas are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions tend to be in estimating, project controls, scheduling, and construction management rather than field trades. In Las Vegas, estimating and preconstruction roles for large resort and commercial builds are the most likely candidates for remote or hybrid arrangements.
How can I get a construction job in Las Vegas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Las Vegas is through a union apprenticeship program, particularly with the Southern Nevada Building and Construction Trades unions, which combine paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction. Residential framing and concrete crews working the active Summerlin and Henderson subdivisions also hire entry-level laborers. Coming in with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation to job sites, and any OSHA safety training gives you a measurable edge over other first-time applicants.
