We are a leading structural steel fabricator and erector specializing in commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Our team delivers high-quality fabricated steel and safe, efficient erection services across Northeast Ohio. We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager to oversee multiple steelprojects from contract award through final completion.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing structural steel

fabrication and erection projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in

accordance with contract documents. This role serves as the primary point of contact between clients,

general contractors, detailers, fabricators, field crews, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

 Manage structural steel projects from kickoff to closeout

 Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications

 Develop and maintain project schedules for fabrication and erection

 Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control

 Track costs, budgets, and forecasts to ensure profitability

 Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates

Fabrication & Erection Coordination

 Coordinate closely with detailing, shop production, and field erection teams

 Monitor fabrication progress and resolve production issues

 Plan erection sequencing and logistics with field superintendents

 Ensure cranes, equipment, and subcontractors are scheduled appropriately

Client & Vendor Relations

 Serve as the primary liaison with general contractors and owners

 Negotiate change orders and resolve scope issues

 Manage subcontractors and material suppliers

Safety & Quality

 Promote and enforce company safety policies

 Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific requirements

 Maintain quality control throughout fabrication and erection phases

Qualifications

Required:

 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in structural steel fabrication and/or

erection

 Strong understanding of structural drawings and steel construction processes

 Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects

 Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office

 Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Preferred:

 Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

 Knowledge of AISC standards

Pay: $85,582.08 - $130,184.87 per year
