Job Description
Human Resources Generalist position will administer various HR and benefit plan programs, procedures, and guidelines that align the HR areas of focus with the company's strategic goals. Provide counsel to employees and leaders related to HR policies, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, employee relations and compensation and benefits administration and components.
This on-site, full-time office-based position, located in Piqua, OH.
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (extended hours as needed)
In this role, you will assist in the administration and support of some or all of the following areas:
- Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel.
- Work with all employees on all shifts, to provide guidance to address a wide variety of personnel, compensation and benefit related topics.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS system, compensation, time and attendance and other related activities.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Coordinate programs to ensure proper and effective staffing and recruiting activities.
- New employee orientation and employee training/learning initiatives.
- Analyze talent development needs and identify solutions for skill development.
- Communication of human resources related material.
- Track, analyze, and report on metrics for human resources functions and provide data to management.
- Assist with development and coordination of reward and recognition programs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, prepare, and maintain the employee handbook and policies and procedures.
- Provide advice and counsel to leaders on solutions to meet business needs related to human resources policies, performance management, succession planning, employee relations and compensation and benefits design and components.
- Provide guidance and direction to leadership on how best to maintain and improve the work environment.
- Various other human resources related duties.

Desired Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred, or
- Associate degree in related field with continuing education in HR/business disciplines.
- 2 - 3 years of HR and benefit plan administration and compliance experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting an hourly workforce.
