We are adding to The E Tech Group team! We are seeking a Director of Procurement to develop and lead procurement strategies that support project-driven system integration work. You will ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of materials, software, and subcontracted services critical to delivering automation projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring that E Tech Group secures the best quality goods and services at the most competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Lead procurement strategy for services supporting system integration projects
- Establish preferred vendor programs with OEMs, distributors, panel shops, and subcontractors
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, rebates, and strategic agreements to support margin and schedule
- Partner with Project Management and Engineering to align procurement plans with project schedules
- Oversee supplier performance, expediting, and risk mitigation for project delivery
- Develop procurement policies, approval workflows, and controls across multiple project teams
- Own spend analysis, cost forecasting, and working capital optimization
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement systems, tools, and processes
- Lead and develop procurement, sourcing, and expediting teams
- Serve as an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including leadership roles
- Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing strategic suppliers
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large spend portfolios
- Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, compliance, and risk management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven track record of cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
You may have:
- Experience in engineering, automation, or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with OEM and distributor ecosystems
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CSCP)
- Experience with ERP and procurement systems (Intacct, etc.)
