The Human Resources Manager position at SLG is responsible for providing employees with the resources needed to achieve success in their individual roles throughout the company. The position includes a mix of employee relations, benefits administration , compliance, payroll, hiring, and more. We are looking for an outgoing, self-directed individual who is comfortable with performing key HR tasks while also developing creative initiatives to further the company's growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comprehensive understanding of federal, state and local labor laws

Preferences:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, or related fields
• Experience with the Predictive Index (PI) behavioral assessment
• Experience in the title or escrow industry
• Experience with Paycor HRIS

Human Resources Manager Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues
• Administer company benefits, including 401k, and insurance plans
• Facilitate employee engagement activities throughout the organization
• Manage the full-scale hiring process from job posting to onboarding
• Process payroll biweekly
• Coordinate the performance evaluation process
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal , state, and local laws
