The Superintendent will oversee subcontractors, materials, equipment, scheduling, quality control, inspections, safety, and overall jobsite progress while ensuring projects are completed according to plans, specifications, schedule, and budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to maintain the project’s critical path.
- Perform quality control and ensure work is completed according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and communicate with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
- Ensure subcontractors are fully executing their contracted scope of work.
- Monitor and address subcontractor compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.
- Identify construction conflicts and communicate issues to the project team for resolution.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
- Strong computer and technology skills, including email, mobile devices, digital cameras, and construction-related software.
- Ability to walk the entire jobsite, including stairs and elevated structures.
- Good math and accounting skills.
- Strong management and leadership abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Willingness and ability to travel when necessary.
