We are currently seeking a talented Process Controls Systems (PCS) Engineer to join our team and help develop innovative solutions for advanced manufacturing.
Responsibilities within the EBNER PCS / L2 software development include:
- Development of new applications and modules for the EBNER PCS “Visual Furnaces™” to fulfill requirements for smart and advanced manufacturing (covering themes like data analysis, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality).
- Developing and adapting of Level 2 software, including user interfaces and mathematical models for customer projects based on standard/existing project and functional descriptions as well as EBNER standard software specifications
- Developing software to interface with customers’ MES systems
- Commissioning of Level 2 systems on-site
- Technical clarification with the customer
- World-wide commissioning tasks
- Software specification and design activities documentation
- Applying and working in compliance with the agreed EBNER software development guidelines (coding, source control, etc.), technical standards, and procedures
- Preparation and execution of proper software testing (e.g. unit testing, functional testing, performance, integration testing) to ensure a high quality of EBNER software solutions
- Second level support for software-related issues, especially problem analysis and related bug fixing
- Preparation and sharing of documentation (source code, technical, end user, etc.)
- Preparation and execution of software training; both inside the EBNER Group and at the customer sites.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Experience with MS Visual Studio C#, .NET Framework and WPF, object-oriented and multithreaded programming, MS SQL Server, developing client/server applications
- Analytical (interdisciplinary) and flexible way of thinking and working
- Strong teamwork ability and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new things
- High initiative, and willingness to travel and stay abroad for up to 2 months

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Software Engineering
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
