Entry Level CRT Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level crt job?
Entry level crt employers look for candidates who have completed an accredited respiratory therapy program and hold or are eligible for CRT credentialing. Clinical rotations, practicum hours, and any hands-on experience with ventilators or airway management give candidates a real edge. Applying to hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health agencies that explicitly welcome new graduates is the most direct path in.
Which companies hire entry level crts?
Companies hiring entry level crts right now include CRISP REGIONAL HOSPITAL, Baptist Health South Florida, and Ochsner Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Employers at this level range from large hospital systems and rehabilitation centers to home health agencies and long-term acute care facilities that routinely onboard new graduates.
Are there remote entry level crt jobs?
Yes, though most crt roles require in-person patient care. About 0% of entry level crt openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions tend to focus on telehealth support, care coordination, or patient education rather than direct bedside respiratory therapy.
Are these new grad crt jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior crt roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts clinical internship or practicum hours in place of full-time work history, or explicitly invites candidates who are newly credentialed and ready to build their skills on the job.
Which industries hire the most entry level crts?
Entry Level crt roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at the entry level because patient volume is high and respiratory care demand is steady, giving new graduates consistent opportunities to gain clinical experience and advance their credentials.
