CT Technologist Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a ct technologist job in Phoenix?
Phoenix's largest hiring pools are the major health systems anchored in Midtown, the Banner Health network, Dignity Health facilities, and the growing outpatient imaging centers multiplying in areas like Gilbert and Chandler just outside the city core. Candidates who hold an ARRT CT credential and have experience with cardiac or neuro protocols consistently stand out, as Phoenix's population growth is pushing demand for advanced imaging in both hospital and freestanding settings.
Which companies hire ct technologists in Phoenix?
Companies currently hiring ct technologists in Phoenix include Banner Health, RadNet, and HiredFirst, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Phoenix's employer mix leans heavily toward large integrated health systems and a fast-expanding network of independent and private-equity-backed outpatient imaging centers.
Are there remote ct technologist jobs in Phoenix?
Remote work is rare for ct technologists because the role requires hands-on patient positioning and direct operation of imaging equipment. About 0% of ct technologist openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions are almost always in teleradiology support, quality assurance review, or imaging informatics rather than direct scanning duties.
How can I get a ct technologist job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is completing a CT-focused clinical rotation at one of the area's community college radiology programs, then targeting the float or per-diem imaging technologist roles that Banner Health and Dignity Health post for recent ARRT-eligible graduates. Urgent care chains and freestanding imaging centers in the East Valley are known to hire candidates who are ARRT-registered in radiography and cross-training into CT, making them a practical starting point before moving into a full-time CT role.
Which industries hire the most ct technologists in Phoenix?
Most ct technologist openings in Phoenix sit in Healthcare & Medical Services, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Phoenix's rapid population growth and large retiree population have driven significant investment in hospital expansion and freestanding diagnostic imaging, keeping those sectors at the center of local CT hiring.
