Entry Level Customer Marketing Lead Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level customer marketing lead job?
Employers hiring at this level prioritize candidates who can show hands-on work: a portfolio of customer campaigns, internship experience managing lifecycle emails or loyalty programs, or coursework in CRM and segmentation. Familiarity with tools like HubSpot or Salesforce gives a strong edge. Tailor your resume to highlight customer-facing wins, even from class projects or volunteer roles, to stand out against other entry level applicants.
Which companies hire entry level customer marketing leads?
Companies hiring entry level customer marketing leads right now include Sinclair Broadcast, Leaf Home, and Amazon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers a wide range, from growth-stage startups building their customer retention function for the first time to established consumer brands scaling their loyalty and engagement programs.
Are there remote entry level customer marketing lead jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by company and team structure. About 21% of entry level customer marketing lead openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, making it a realistic option for candidates who need flexibility. On-site roles still make up a meaningful share, particularly at companies that want junior marketers working closely with customer success or product teams in person.
Are these new grad customer marketing lead jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates and candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically states that it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or a portfolio in place of full-time history, and does not require prior team leadership. Entry level customer marketing lead roles are a common first step for marketing graduates entering retention or lifecycle work.
Which industries hire the most entry level customer marketing leads?
Entry Level customer marketing lead roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Education, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely heavily on repeat customer engagement, subscription models, or loyalty programs that require dedicated marketing support even at the junior end of the team.
