How do I get a customer operations manager job in Seattle?
The strongest path in Seattle is targeting the city's dominant tech and cloud-services ecosystem, where customer operations managers oversee scaled support, onboarding, and success workflows. South Lake Union and the Eastside corridor around Bellevue and Redmond concentrate the highest volume of openings. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with CRM platforms, cross-functional process improvement, and data-driven decision-making stand out most in this market.
Which companies hire customer operations managers in Seattle?
Seattle customer operations manager roles are posted by Amazon, Amazon Web Services, and TikTok and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's hiring mix leans heavily toward large-scale technology companies and high-growth software firms, alongside regional healthcare networks and logistics operators that need operations leaders managing complex customer-facing workflows.
Are there remote customer operations manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends on the role's scope, as positions overseeing on-site teams or physical fulfillment operations are typically in-office, while strategy, tooling, and analytics-focused roles often allow remote work. About 23% of customer operations manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the city's tech-forward employer base. Process design and reporting functions are the most commonly remote components locally.
How can I get a customer operations manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is landing a customer support specialist or operations coordinator role at a mid-size SaaS or e-commerce company, then building toward a manager title internally. Seattle's startup scene in South Lake Union frequently promotes from within, and companies running scaled support operations often prefer internal candidates who already understand their systems. Certifications in tools like Salesforce or Zendesk and measurable process improvements in any previous role accelerate that timeline.
