Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

What You'll Do as a Customer Service Manager
- Under the direction of the Chief & Assistant Chief within the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) Field Operations License Control section to plan, coordinate, promote &/or direct assistance to respond to inquiries &/or requests for information for variety of clients & supervise assigned staff:
- Establish priorities & supervise subordinate personnel (e.g., provide developmental opportunities, coach staff to foster development, evaluate performance, approve section staffing levels, recommend discipline, etc.);
- Develop new procedures to facilitate training on driver license issuance & accurate telephone service provided to deputy registrars in conjunction with Assistant Chief, Chief, &/or other section managers;
- Prepare training materials & distributes to staff;
- Prepare ad hoc, weekly, & quarterly reports on statistical production levels of calls answered & customer service levels met.

Qualifications
12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in departmental operations & programs, policies & procedures for assigned agency;
AND 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in federal & state laws regarding operation of assigned agency;
AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations;
AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in applications of mathematical, analytical &/or statistical methods used in formulating & solving problems or in decision making;
AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public speaking, speech or communication;
AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
