INTRODUCTION

Our client is seeking three Data Science Engineers to join their Wireless Networks team in Plano, TX. This role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to improve 4G/5G network performance and support product acceptance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience working with large-scale datasets, and a solid foundation in machine learning and statistical analysis. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and wireless network experts to develop insights, predictive models, and data-driven solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze large-scale wireless network datasets to identify trends, performance issues, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions for network performance analysis.
• Work closely with stakeholders to evaluate product and software release performance.
• Explore relationships between 4G/5G KPIs, KQIs, and network acceptance criteria.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools to communicate findings.
• Support A/B testing initiatives and statistical evaluations of new features and products.
• Proactively identify operational impacts, trends, risks, and opportunities across wireless network products.
• Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Preferred 3–5 years of professional engineering, data science, or analytics experience.
• Strong experience working with large datasets and applying statistical methodologies.
• Experience with big data environments and high-volume datasets (1TB+).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Hadoop, Citus, or similar big data platforms.
• Experience with wireless infrastructure providers or wireless operators.
• Knowledge of LTE, VoLTE, CDMA/EVDO, and/or 5G technologies.
• Experience evaluating service performance trends and RAN system performance.
• Advanced degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
