Dental Assistant Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a dental assistant job in Atlanta?
Focus your search on the Midtown and Buckhead corridors, where group dental practices and multi-specialty clinics are most concentrated, along with the Perimeter Center area's large healthcare campuses. Candidates who hold radiology certification and have hands-on experience with digital imaging software move faster through hiring here. Targeting large DSO-affiliated practices and hospital dental departments gives you the broadest range of openings in the Atlanta market.
Which companies hire dental assistants in Atlanta?
Companies currently hiring dental assistants in Atlanta include Benevis, PDS Health, and Riverside Dental, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Atlanta's mix of large dental service organizations, independent group practices, and academic medical center dental clinics creates consistent demand at multiple experience levels throughout the metro.
Are there remote dental assistant jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though remote options are rare given that most dental assistant work is hands-on chairside care. About 0% of dental assistant openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, typically covering administrative or care-coordination roles within dental groups. Front-office scheduling and patient communication functions at larger Atlanta DSOs are the most likely to carry a hybrid arrangement.
How can I get a dental assistant job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most direct entry path in Atlanta is applying to large dental service organizations, which tend to have structured on-the-job training programs and regularly hire candidates without prior clinical experience. Entry-level front-desk or dental receptionist roles at multi-location Atlanta practices often convert to chairside positions once you demonstrate reliability. Atlanta's strong network of community college dental programs also creates recruiting pipelines directly into local clinics.
