We are seeking a personable and enthusiastic full-time Dental Sterilization Technician—someone who is patient-focused, service-minded, and ready to support both clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and reprocessing of dental instruments and surgical tools using established aseptic techniques and sterilization equipment.
• Assemble, package, and label sterile medical instruments accurately for immediate use or storage, ensuring compliance with sterilization standards.
• Manage inventory levels of sterilized supplies and dental instruments, including tracking usage and replenishing stock to prevent shortages.
• Follow strict infection prevention protocols to minimize cross-contamination risks during all stages of instrument handling and processing.
• Conduct routine quality checks on sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Turning over operatory rooms and setting up for procedures
• Interacting with patients and seating them in assigned rooms
• Opportunities for assisting

Skills

• Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures including medical equipment sterilization, decontamination, and packaging techniques. (Preferred, but not required)
• Proficiency in inventory management systems for tracking supplies and sterilized instruments efficiently. (Preferred, but not required)
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to infection control, surgical instruments, and healthcare practices. (Preferred, but not required)
• Experience operating medical equipment used in sterilization processes such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners. (Preferred, but not required)
• Expertise in infection prevention management with a focus on healthcare infection control standards and aseptic techniques. (Preferred, but not required)
• Ability to follow detailed protocols for surgical instrument sterilization and handling while maintaining high attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work seamlessly with a team

We are offering a work/life balance friendly schedule. No weekends! We are willing to work with the right person to find a full-time schedule that works for them. General hours are 7:45am-5:30pm.

In addition to an hourly rate $14-$16/hour (based on experience), we are also offering the following benefits:
