At Central Dentist, we're looking for an enthusiastic Dental Sterilization Technician to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas.

YOUR MISSION
As our Dental Sterilization Technician, you'll play an essential role in keeping our clinical team running smoothly and our patients safe.
You'll be responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and properly sterilized dental instruments, supporting efficient clinical operations, and ensuring our treatment rooms are ready to deliver exceptional patient care.
While much of your work happens behind the scenes, your contribution directly impacts every patient experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Instrument Cleaning & Sterilization
- Clean, disinfect, inspect, package, and sterilize dental instruments according to established infection-control protocols.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including ultrasonic cleaners and autoclaves.
- Organize instruments and prepare procedure-specific instrument setups.
- Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain accurate sterilization records.
- Follow established OSHA, CDC, and applicable Texas dental infection-control requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient sterilization area.
2. Support the Clinical Team
- Prepare instrument trays and supplies for upcoming dental procedures.
- Ensure dental assistants and providers have the properly processed instruments they need.
- Help restock clinical supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
- Assist with treatment room turnover, cleaning, and disinfection as trained and authorized.
- Communicate proactively with the clinical team to keep the daily schedule running efficiently.
3. Maintain Safety & Organization
- Follow infection-prevention procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Safely handle contaminated instruments, sharps, and clinical materials.
- Monitor inventory and notify the appropriate team member when supplies are running low.
- Follow established equipment maintenance and quality-control procedures.
- Identify and report equipment concerns or sterilization issues immediately.
