Our tight knit team is growing and looking to add another member to keep up with growing demand. We are looking for someone detail-oriented that has an artistic eye. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning a specialized trade and building a long-term career in the dental lab industry.
The position will involve a combination of computer based as well as hands-on production work. Previous dental lab experience is not required but is helpful. We provide on-the-job training and will teach you the skills and processes needed to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Scan dental models using lab scanning equipment
- Pour plaster into molds to create models of patient’s teeth
- Use precision grinding equipment to shape plaster models and final restorations
- Use surface stains to recreate characteristic natural dentition
- Design patient specific restorations using CAD/CAM software
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet daily production schedules and quality standards
- Learn and perform additional laboratory procedures as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Comfort using computers and willingness to learn new technology
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- A dependable, responsible, and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Dental
- CAD/CAM or digital technology
- Computer or technical work
- Arts, crafts, jewelry, model making, or other detailed hands-on work
