Job Summary
AEM Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale digital experience solutions in commerce domain using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in AEM architecture, component development, integrations, and cloud-based deployments while providing technical leadership to development teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and best practices for AEM implementations.
- Review code, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Drive technical design discussions and solution architecture decisions.
AEM Development:
- Design and develop reusable AEM components, templates, workflows, and services.
- Implement AEM Sites, Assets, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments.
- Develop custom OSGi services, Sling Models, Servlets, and workflows.
- Configure AEM authoring, publishing, dispatcher, and replication environments.
- Implement responsive web components using HTL (Sightly), Vue JS, JavaScript, HTML.
Integration & Cloud Solutions:
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems like open search.
- Support AEM as a Cloud Service deployment and Adobe Cloud Manager pipelines.
Performance & Quality:
- Optimize AEM applications for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and coding standards.
- Conduct technical reviews, testing, and deployment validations.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, UX Designers, Business Analysts, and QA teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 11+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience.
- 5+ years of technical leadership or team lead experience.
- Experience delivering enterprise CMS and digital experience platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Java, J2EE.
- Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR.
- HTL (Sightly), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue JS.
- AEM Sites, Assets, Workflows, MSM, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments.
- REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
- Git, Maven, Cloud Manager.
