About Owner
Owner is the AI-native system local business owners use to succeed, starting with restaurants.
We’re building the system that replaces the many tools owners use to run their business.
It powers everything from the restaurant’s website, online ordering, CRM, POS, and more.
Product philosophy
Most small business software makes owners do the work to get what they want: sales growth and profit growth. Owner does the work for them agentically.
Our system drives demand, converts it, and helps operators run their business day to day. As it improves, the business improves with it.
Using Owner should feel like having a team of great operators, engineers, and marketers working for you.
Our vision
We’re starting by helping independent restaurants succeed online.
But it’s not just restaurants that need our help. Most local businesses are struggling with these same problems. Huge technology corporations are taking their customers, bleeding their profits, and making it hard for them to survive.
Once we nail the solution for restaurants – we’ll scale it into every other local business type.
In the future we envision, tens of millions of local business owners will use our technology to succeed in the digital age.
Our traction
Since 2020, we've generated tens of millions in revenue and processed over a billion dollars of online orders. 1 in 5 Americans have used an Owner.com website.
More importantly, we’ve helped over 20,000 restaurant owners, and saved them nearly $200 million in fees.
Our team
Our team is now in the low hundreds. We’ve got top talent from the most successful companies in SMB software, including: Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, ServiceTitan, Rappi, Faire and Stripe.
We’ll be scaling even faster in 2026 to keep pace with our customer growth.
Where we work
Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. Most of our teammates are distributed throughout the globe. Please review the role description and discuss with your recruiter for more details on location!
Why we’re looking for you
Running a restaurant is a constant stream of decisions, exceptions, and tradeoffs. Operators do not need more dashboards. They need an always-on co-owner that surfaces what matters, recommends the next best move, and increasingly does the work for them.
RestX is Owner’s operator command center. We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to build the AI-native operator experience for restaurants on top of our agent platform. This is a hands-on builder PM role for someone who can go deep on operational workflows and also go deep on the technical reality of orders, menus, and integrations.
This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
The impact you will have
Make outcomes the product for operators. Synthesize what outcomes have been driven, recommend the next best action with a clear why and how, and provide a one-tap path to get it done.
Spend meaningful time with restaurant owners and frontline teams to build deep operator intuition and translate it into shipped product.
Productize playbooks into personalized actions based on each restaurant’s data, configuration, and operating context.
Ship high-impact closed-loop playbooks that turn signals into clear recommendations and one-tap actions. Examples include profit-aware demand capture, self-optimizing menus, dynamic specials that fill slow dayparts, reputation automation, and win-back plays for high-value guests.
Own the foundations for orders, menus, integrations, and reliability so the product is trustworthy at scale.
What we’re looking for
8+ years product management experience (or equivalent building experience), with a track record of shipping.
Strong operator empathy and customer obsession. You build conviction by spending time with customers.
AI product instincts grounded in real operations. You think in loops and care about quality and iteration.
Technical depth and strong engineering partnership. You can reason about systems, data flows, and reliability.
Strong judgment and prioritization. You can balance speed, correctness, and long-term maintainability.
Pay and benefits
The estimated starting base salary range for this role is $280- $300K, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package
Other benefits include comprehensive health coverage, remote-first workplace, unlimited PTO - plus extra fun perks!

Director Of Client Experience Jobs in Oregon: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a director of client experience in Oregon?
Most directors of client experience in Oregon reach the role through a combination of a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications and progressive leadership experience in customer success, account management, or service operations. Oregon does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers in Portland and the broader Willamette Valley typically expect candidates to have led teams, managed client satisfaction programs, and worked with service analytics tools before stepping into a director-level position.
Which companies hire director of client experiences in Oregon?
Employers hiring director of client experiences in Oregon right now include NAVEX, Pinehurst Management, and American Campus Communities, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Oregon's concentration of regional health systems, financial institutions, and consumer technology companies makes it one of the more consistent states for senior client experience hiring in the Pacific Northwest.
Which Oregon cities have the most director of client experience jobs?
Portland, Lake Oswego, and Oregon have the most director of client experience openings in Oregon. Portland drives the majority of listings given its density of corporate headquarters, regional financial services firms, and health systems, while Bend's growing technology and outdoor industry sector and Eugene's university-anchored healthcare and services market account for much of the remaining demand.
Are there remote director of client experience jobs in Oregon?
Yes, and more than most fields, since client experience strategy, journey design, and customer analytics translate well to remote environments. About 39% of director of client experience openings tied to Oregon are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting employer flexibility at the senior level. The most remote-friendly parts of the role tend to be program design, data analysis, and cross-functional stakeholder work rather than on-site service delivery oversight.
How can I get hired as a director of client experience in Oregon with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a customer success manager, client services coordinator, or account manager role at an Oregon employer, then building toward director responsibility over time. Large Oregon organizations like Providence Health and Services, PeaceHealth, and Umpqua Bank regularly hire for associate and mid-level client experience roles that serve as a pipeline to leadership. Building a portfolio of customer journey projects, earning a certification from a recognized customer experience professional body, and moving into team lead roles within those organizations are the steps that most consistently open the director track.
Where can I find and apply to director of client experience jobs in Oregon?
