Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Workday Adaptive Planning
Frame your credentials for U.S. specialty occupation
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes. Make sure your resume explicitly states your degree field, finance, accounting, or information systems, so hiring managers can confirm specialty occupation eligibility before sponsoring.
Target employers with active Workday contracts
Companies already running Workday Adaptive Planning as their budgeting platform are far more likely to sponsor an E-3 for implementation or support roles. Focus your search on mid-to-large enterprises in healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services that have publicly announced Workday deployments.
Search Migrate Mate for verified E-3 sponsorship roles
Use Migrate Mate to find Workday Adaptive Planning jobs where employers have confirmed E-3 sponsorship. Filtering by visa type saves time you'd otherwise spend asking recruiters about sponsorship availability before a first interview.
Ask employers about LCA timing before accepting offers
The DOL must certify your Labor Condition Application before your consulate appointment can be scheduled. Confirm with your employer that they're prepared to file the LCA immediately after you accept, delays here are the most common bottleneck in the E-3 process.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your paperwork
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork from offer through consulate appointment. Workday roles often require rapid start dates, and having the filing managed end-to-end removes the risk of document errors that delay your approval.
Clarify your certification scope during interviews
Workday Adaptive Planning has distinct certification tracks, modeling, reporting, and administration. Specifying which certifications you hold during interviews helps employers confirm the role fits specialty occupation criteria, strengthening the case for E-3 sponsorship from the start.

Find Workday Adaptive Planning JobsWorkday Adaptive Planning E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Workday Adaptive Planning jobs that offer E-3 sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for Workday Adaptive Planning roles with confirmed E-3 visa sponsorship. Most general job boards don't filter by visa type, so you end up contacting dozens of employers before finding one willing to sponsor. Migrate Mate surfaces roles where sponsorship is already confirmed, so your search starts at the right point.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Workday Adaptive Planning role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes. Workday Adaptive Planning positions, including financial modeling analyst, FP&A consultant, and planning systems administrator, routinely require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business analytics, or information systems. That degree requirement in a specific field is what USCIS looks for when assessing specialty occupation status, and these roles clear that bar consistently.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Workday Adaptive Planning professionals?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you can apply any time you have a qualifying job offer rather than waiting for an April registration window. H-1B selection is random and capped at 85,000 annually, meaning qualified Workday professionals can go multiple years without being selected. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is a far more predictable path to U.S. employment in this field.
Can I transfer my E-3 to a new employer if I change Workday jobs?
Yes, but the process starts fresh with each employer. Your new employer must file a certified LCA with the DOL before you can begin working for them on E-3 status. There's no portability provision like the one available under certain H-1B transfers, so plan for a filing lead time of at least a few weeks between accepting an offer and your start date.
