Join the MercyOne family as a Registered Nurse at our Davenport and Bettendorf Emergency departments!
Schedule:
- Days-Split Shift: 09-2130 and 11-2330
- 36 hours per week, 3 (12 hr) shifts
- Every 3rd weekend
- Holiday rotation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs Rapid and Comprehensive Assessments
- Develops and Implements Emergency Care Plans
- Delivers Timely and Effective Interventions
- Prepares patients for diagnostic testing, procedures, or transfer to higher levels of care
- Evaluates Patient Responses and Adjusts Care
- Facilitates Communication and Coordination
- Demonstrates Clinical Competence in Emergency Nursing
- Manages Multiple Patients and Prioritizes Care
- Provides Age-Appropriate and Culturally Sensitive Care
- Ensures Safety and Compliance
- Maintains Professional Standards and Regulatory Compliance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current Iowa RN license, IL RN license within one year required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire
- High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability
- Basic computer skills required
