Registered Nurse (RN) – Davie Emergency Dept.

Where You Will Work:
Davie Medical Center ED is a 23-bed community hospital emergency department providing comprehensive patient care to a variety of illnesses and injuries. DMC ED is equipped to perform diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT, US and MRI as well as laboratory studies. The emergency department receives patients from the local county EMS as well as surrounding counties 24/7. Patients requiring critical care or surgical intervention are stabilized at Davie then transferred to a tertiary care center.
Expectations We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS are required within 6 months of hire
- 2 years of ED experience preferred
What You’ll Do:
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
