Engineering Design Manager Jobs in Seattle, WA

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will partner with key customers to understand their data and metrics reporting requirements, collaborate with engineering teams to source data from the systems they own, and build data pipelines and reporting solutions that harness that data. This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role working with customer teams across the DCE Design Engineering organization delivering and maintaining solutions used by directors, senior managers, and project leads. You will own the timely delivery and reliability of data used for business decision-making, and you will own the long-term strategy for the solutions you build. Your work will directly influence decision-making and strategy across our organization.

The ideal candidate has excellent analytical abilities, deep curiosity, and strong technical skills. They have a bias toward data-driven decision-making and a track record of building scalable data pipelines and systems that enable it. They are a self-starter — comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative, while exercising strong judgment and good instincts to be right a lot. They are motivated by delivering high-quality, innovative solutions within timeframes most think are impossible. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure — in other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running.
