Simply Tables builds high-end custom furniture for restaurants, hotels, and hospitality spaces. Our work includes hardwood tables, metal bases, stone and terrazzo tops, booths, seating, and other custom projects.

We’re looking for a dedicated Estimator who understands fabrication, enjoys working with numbers, and can turn project details into accurate estimates based on material costs and labor hours.

We’ll train you on our products, estimating tools, and pricing methods. You should bring relevant industry knowledge, strong computer and spreadsheet skills, and a practical approach to problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

• Review drawings and specifications, identify missing details, and clarify project requirements.
• Break projects into materials, components, outside services, and production steps.
• Calculate material costs and quantities, including waste.
• Estimate labor hours for fabrication, machining, assembly, sanding, finishing, and packaging.
• Work with production to confirm practical manufacturing methods and realistic labor estimates.
• Obtain vendor pricing and lead times, and communicate clearly with vendors and clients.
• Prepare estimates and quotes using company labor rates and pricing guidelines.
• Keep quotes, revisions, assumptions, and deadlines organized.
• Compare estimates with actual costs and hours to improve accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• Practical knowledge of furniture manufacturing, cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, metal fabrication, or a related industry.
• Ability to read drawings and think through how a product will be made.
• Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and formulas, and confidence learning new programs.
• Strong math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. If you enjoy logic puzzles, you may enjoy this work.
• Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple quotes.
• Clear communication, a collaborative attitude, and flexibility when priorities change.

Helpful, but Not Required

• Previous estimating experience.
• Familiarity with quoting software, ERP systems, or CAD viewers.
• Experience using AI tools thoughtfully and checking their accuracy.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
