Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate estimates for projects within the construction industry. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and scope.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Utilize Electrical Bidding software for cost estimation and project management tasks.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes (including NEC), and best practices in construction management.
• Review bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for submission to clients.

Skills

• Proficiency in Electrical Bidding and Bluebeam software for estimating and project management.
• Strong background in construction estimating with an emphasis on electrical projects.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical documents.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
• Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
