INTRODUCTION
Providence Community Health Center is recruiting a Family Physician to work with a collaborative group of clinicians - Internists, Pediatricians, ObGyns, Family Physicians and Behavioral Health Counselor. This is an opportunity to develop a panel of patients of all ages, grow your career and support the healthcare needs of a bustling neighborhood in Providence.

Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) is a large innovative Federally Qualified Health Center with eight neighborhood-based clinics, all Patient Centered Medical Homes. Established in 1968, PCHC was one of the first FQHCs in the country and has deep-rooted history serving vulnerable populations in Providence, RI.
- 500 employees serve more than 80,000+ patients
- Primary Care clinicians work weekdays only – full-time is 4 days in clinic; one day remote admin time.
- In-house specialists supporting PCPs, on same EMR (Epic!), include integrated behavioral health, optometry, dental, asthma/allergy, rheumatology, and podiatry.
- Clinicians lead their team - a dedicated Medical Assistant and support from RN
- Clinics have labs, x-ray and support resources on-site

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine MD or DO with experience and interest in community health and patient-centered care
- Licensed/eligible in Rhode Island
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Multi-lingual and multi-cultural skills highly valued but not required
