Licensure requires passing the USMLE or COMLEX series. Most Minnesota employers also expect board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine, which requires passing a certification exam after residency.
How much do family medicine physicians make in Minnesota?
Family medicine physicians in Minnesota earn a median of about $280,030 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $153,100 for the lowest 10% to over $391,150 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire family medicine physicians in Minnesota?
