Job Summary:
Allina Health is seeking an outpatient psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to join our team! In this role, you’ll practice at the forefront of behavioral health integration, delivering psychiatric expertise embedded within a primary care clinic setting. You’ll collaborate directly with medical providers and behavioral health clinicians to improve patient access and outcomes.
Key Position Details:
As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Allina Health, you will support Allina’s growing collaborative care model by providing psychiatric consultation, direct patient evaluation, and treatment within the outpatient clinic setting. You will work closely with primary care providers, psychologists, therapists, and care managers to identify mental health conditions early, guide treatment plans, and reduce barriers to care.
- Provide adult psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, medication management, and ongoing follow-up in a primary care clinic setting
- Support early identification and management of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other common psychiatric conditions
- Participate in the development of care pathways and quality improvement projects in integrated behavioral health
Schedule
- M-F schedule, with hybrid remote/and on-site at Shakopee Clinic
- 8 hour day shifts
- No weekend work
- No current or expected call rotation
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience working as a psychiatric mental health NP
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner required
- BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days
- Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire
Physical Demands
- Medium Work*:
- Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $148,835 to $177,500 per year
The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
