Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a cardiovascular interventional technologist in Minnesota?
You typically complete an accredited radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology program, then earn the Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV) certificate through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or pursue CCI credentialing through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Minnesota does not issue a separate state license for this specialty, but most employers require an active ARRT or CCI credential before hire. Clinical training at a Minnesota hospital cath lab strengthens your candidacy considerably.
Which companies hire cardiovascular interventional technologists in Minnesota?
Minnesota cardiovascular interventional technologist roles are posted by Fairview Health Services, Allina Health, and American Traveler and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Minnesota's deep concentration of academic medical centers and large integrated health systems means hiring activity tends to be consistent year-round rather than seasonal.
Which Minnesota cities have the most cardiovascular interventional technologist jobs?
Minneapolis, Rochester, and Saint Paul are the cities with the most cardiovascular interventional technologist openings in Minnesota. The Twin Cities metro anchors the market because of the density of hospital systems and specialty heart centers headquartered there, while Rochester draws steady demand from Mayo Clinic's world-renowned cardiovascular programs, and Duluth supports openings through Essentia Health and its regional referral volume.
Are there remote cardiovascular interventional technologist jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, but they're rare. Cardiovascular interventional technologists work hands-on in sterile cath lab environments, which means the vast majority of roles require physical presence. About 0% of cardiovascular interventional technologist openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions tend to involve quality review, education coordination, or clinical applications work rather than direct patient procedures.
How can I get hired as a cardiovascular interventional technologist in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying as a radiologic technologist or cardiac monitor technician at a Minnesota hospital and rotating into the cath lab through internal training programs. Large systems like Allina Health and M Health Fairview run structured cath lab orientation programs that onboard candidates from general rad tech or echo tech backgrounds. Holding your ARRT (R) credential and completing even a student clinical rotation in a Minnesota cath lab gives you a meaningful edge over candidates without local hands-on exposure.
Where can I find and apply to cardiovascular interventional technologist jobs in Minnesota?
You can find and apply to cardiovascular interventional technologist jobs in Minnesota on Migrate Mate, which lists current Minnesota openings in one place. Search the roles that fit your credentials and experience level, then apply directly to the ones that match. No signup is required to see the listings.
