VDCI is currently hiring for a full-time Field Operations Specialist to service the Nantucket, MA area.

• The area that this position services is the Nantucket, MA area.
• We provide a company vehicle and lodging in Nantucket.
• 3-5 days of field technician work on the island + some office admin and contract developing for new business proposals.

Overview

The Field Operations Specialist is responsible for going out and surveying for larval mosquitos and treating for them in marshland areas. You will be working for the city/town and going out in the marshland and spreading different types of granular bacterial products with a backpack blower or by hand to treat for mosquito larva and do preventative work. This position is also responsible for helping out in developing proposal development for new business proposals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Reviewing Customer Contracts & Annual Opportunities ensuring they have been set up correctly in SalesForce.
• Monitoring a report (Tax Area Code Missing) to apply the Tax Code to new accounts, as well as adding tax to the applicable WOs.
• Annual Billing for Current Month after Start on Annual Contracts.
• Monitoring SalesForce chatter for approval to manually invoice annuals closed/won in the current month & generating the invoices.
• Reviewing & processing requests in the Contracts inbox which include superseding contract submissions & researching inquiries for annual contract invoice/billing issues.
• Addendums - Process and log on tracking sheet.
• Processing monthly usage billings for applicable customers.

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of business related experience is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent skills in Google Sheets, Salesforce and Microsoft NAVision.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Must have Excellent Team Spirit, with a great work ethic.
• Positive and competitive attitude.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.

Base Pay Range

Hourly: $21.00 - $36.00

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
