Job Summary

Well Done Mitigation & Restoration is looking for a reliable, hands-on Bilingual Water Mitigation Technician to join our field operations team.

This is a mobile, field-based position — not an office job.

The technician will travel to residential and commercial properties throughout the assigned service area to inspect water damage, perform mitigation work, set up and monitor drying equipment, complete controlled demolition when necessary, document job-site conditions, and communicate professionally with customers.

We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable spending the workday in the field, traveling between different properties, working with their hands, and responding calmly and professionally to changing job-site conditions.

The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, physically capable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working independently while following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to water-loss and mitigation service calls at residential and commercial properties.
• Inspect properties affected by leaks, flooding, water intrusion, moisture, or related damage.
• Perform water extraction and structural drying.
• Set up, monitor, move, and remove dehumidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers, and other mitigation equipment.
• Perform controlled demolition when required, including removal of drywall, baseboards, flooring, carpet, and other affected materials.
• Install containment barriers and follow appropriate mitigation and safety procedures.
• Take photos and document job conditions before, during, and after work is performed.
• Record moisture readings, psychrometric information, equipment placement, and job progress in the company’s field-management system.
• Maintain clear and accurate job notes.
• Explain the mitigation process professionally to homeowners, property managers, and other parties involved.
• Immediately report unexpected damage, safety concerns, changes in scope, or problems requiring supervisor attention.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and assigned materials in clean and safe operating condition.
• Follow company procedures, job-site safety requirements, and applicable IICRC standards.
• Travel between multiple job sites throughout the workday.
• Participate in emergency and after-hours response when scheduled or required.

Mandatory Requirements

Bilingual English/Spanish
Must be able to communicate professionally in both English and Spanish. Written communication is also required for job documentation and reporting.

Authorized to Work in the United States
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility will be verified in accordance with federal law.

Valid Florida Driver’s License
A valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required because the position involves operating company vehicles and traveling between job sites.

Field-Work Availability
This position requires daily travel to customer properties and active field work. Candidates must be willing and able to reliably report to job sites throughout the assigned service area.

Comfortable Working Outside an Office Environment
Candidates must be comfortable spending most of the workday on the road and at customer properties rather than in an office.

Physical Capability
Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50+ lbs., move equipment, perform physical work, use tools, climb when appropriate, and work in areas such as attics, crawl spaces, or other confined spaces when safe to do so.

Florida Field Conditions
Must be comfortable working in heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions when work can be performed safely.

Schedule Flexibility
Full-time availability is required. The position may include weekends, emergency response, and after-hours assignments depending on business needs.

Reliability & Accountability
Must be punctual, organized, responsive to assignments, and capable of following a changing route or schedule while completing required documentation.

Experience with Applied Structural Drying (ASD), mold remediation, Xactimate, moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers, containment, or restoration field software is a plus.

Previous mitigation experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong hands-on field experience, reliability, and the right attitude may be considered for training.

TÉCNICO BILINGÜE DE MITIGACIÓN DE DAÑOS POR AGUA – TRABAJO DE CAMPO

Well Done Mitigation & Restoration busca un Técnico Bilingüe de Mitigación de Daños por Agua para formar parte de nuestro equipo de operaciones.

Esta es una posición principalmente de campo, no de oficina.

El técnico debe estar cómodo trasladándose diariamente entre diferentes propiedades residenciales y comerciales, realizando trabajo físico, utilizando herramientas y equipos de mitigación, documentando correctamente los trabajos y tratando directamente con clientes.

Buscamos una persona responsable, activa, resolutiva, organizada y cómoda trabajando fuera de una oficina.

La posición requiere disponibilidad real para movilizarse a diferentes propiedades dentro del área asignada, trabajar en condiciones propias de Florida y responder a cambios de ruta, prioridades y servicios de emergencia cuando corresponda.

Requisitos principales:

• Inglés y español.
• Autorización legal para trabajar en Estados Unidos.
• Licencia de conducir válida de Florida y récord de manejo aceptable.
• Disponibilidad para trabajo de campo y desplazamiento diario entre propiedades.
• Capacidad para levantar y movilizar equipos de aproximadamente 50+ lbs.
• Comodidad trabajando en exteriores, áticos, crawl spaces y propiedades afectadas por agua cuando las condiciones sean seguras.
• Disponibilidad full-time y flexibilidad para emergencias, fines de semana o servicios fuera de horario cuando sea necesario.
• Responsabilidad, puntualidad y capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente.
• Disposición para tomar fotografías, registrar lecturas, completar notas y mantener documentación precisa de cada trabajo.

Experiencia en Mitigation, Restoration, Mold Remediation, Construction, Roofing, HVAC, Plumbing, Maintenance, Remodeling, Demolition o trabajos técnicos de campo será altamente valorada.

Certificación IICRC WRT es preferida.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
